Relationships

A Partner to the Blood Bank Industry

Blood Bank Computer Systems, Inc. (BBCS) is unique in the industry for the extent and commitment of our partner relationships with both our clients and vendors. At BBCS, clients come before stockholders. We pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we have established and continue to foster. Many of our clients have been with us for more than 10 years and we’ve celebrated over 20 years of service with almost one third.

In 1992, together with our clients, we established a User Group that meets annually. Participants exchange ideas, learn about upcoming application changes, and take advantage of training opportunities. Beyond these annual meetings, users maintain active community engagement. They assist one another by sharing best practices they’ve developed in their use of the applications and by discussing standard operating procedures.

Listening to Industry Leaders

In 2011, BBCS introduced the BBCS CEO Summit where we bring together CEOs from all over the country. We share with attendees our strategic plans for the current year and listen to the perspectives of these industry leaders as they share insights, trends they are seeing, and the challenges they face. Together we strategize on what BBCS can do to ensure we continue to provide real solutions to help address those challenges. At these Summits, BBCS also previews new potential products and features, using CEO feedback to help set development priorities.

These dialogues are just an example of how diligently BBCS works together with our stakeholders to define tomorrow’s blood bank technology solutions. We have always worked closely with all sectors of the industry—blood banking institutions, hospitals, hardware and technology platform vendors, industry leadership associations, and medical device and equipment manufacturers.
