The BBCS Hospital Interface Application (BBCSH) allows connectivity between the blood center and the hospitals to which the blood center provides patient specific products. The blood center’s receipt of patient orders is automated by the continuous communication feed between the (HIS) and the BBCS Primary Application. Orders generated in the HIS are automatically created in BBCS and status updates for each order are sent back to the hospital to support efficient processing and communication between blood centers and their clients.
