AUBURN, WA – August 11th, 2016 — Blood Bank Computer Systems, Inc. (BBCS) today announced they now have three clients live on ABO Suite™, with several more contracted implementations underway. The most recent client to go live was Atlanta Blood Services (ABS), who went live on July 13th. Their implementation included ABO Express Limited 1.1.0, ABO Wheels 1.1.0 and ABO QuickPass 1.0.1. ABS went from the BBCS Primary Application 5.4.3 to ABO Suite in just 10 weeks with the assistance of our Implementation Support Services team. They have been a client since 2005 and are also using OpTech Private Cloud hosting.

“We are partnering with our client blood centers through their implementations, and doing everything we can to make the implementation experience a positive one. From the feedback received at our annual CEO Summit and User Group, we’ve refined our processes and created tools that make the path to ABO Suite more streamlined,” says Beth Simon, CEO of BBCS.

“We are excited to provide this technology to our staff and our donors! Our fully-integrated system ensures accuracy and efficiency throughout the collection process, now with a sleek new look. Coming soon, donors will be able to answer donor questionnaires at their home or office, before coming into the donor center. ABS continues to bring state-of-the-art technologies such as these to the Atlanta community and better help those in need,” says Carrie Cox, CEO of ABS.

The first two clients that implemented ABO Suite were the two Pilot Program participants, Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) and The Blood Center of Central Texas, who have been live on the system since December 2015.
